Profiting on Mass Incarceration

America has a problem with large amounts of people arrested for crimes relating to drugs and immigration in combination with longer sentences. This caused an increase in the number of prisoners and required prisons and with that came more privatized prisons that take the money given for prisoners and give the prisoners the worst care and treatment they can in order to gain the highest profits.
